iVillage Health recently wrote an interesting article about concealing your baby bump. Now, certainly, most of us don’t feel the need to conceal our bump! But, for the famous out there who have the press all over them, or for the woman who wants to bounce back quickly after the baby, the Kymaro Body Shaper might do just the trick.
As the iVillage writer reports, she wonders if wearing a Kymaro Body Shaper is healthy for the unborn baby. The answer she received from two doctors was a resounding “Yes! It’s fine!” One doctor explained that, “‘Wearing a constrictive garment, especially in the first trimester when the uterus is typically still below the pubic bone, will not harm the baby.’ As a matter of fact, she typically recommends abdominal binders in the second and third trimesters, to help with the worsening back and pelvic pain that can come with a growing, baby-filled belly.”
